What: Shroud of Turin Exhibit and Expert Presentation (lunch included)
When: April 8, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., 2025
Where: St. Therese Catholic Church, Deephaven
The Shroud of Turin is a blood-stained linen burial cloth that bears the mysterious image and blood stains of a crucified man believed by many to be Jesus of Nazareth. It is one of the most scientifically studied and tested archaeological artifacts in the world, yet modern science cannot explain how the mysterious image on the Shroud was formed.
You are invited to explore the science, history, and Scriptures related to the Shroud in this new and completely updated exhibit. The exhibit was developed by Othonia, an Apostolate of the Science and Faith Institute of the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum located in Rome, Italy. We have also invited an internationally known priest to speak to the clergy on the shroud. He will bridge the gap between scientific observation and theological interpretation.
