The Saint Paul Seminary has tabbed Matt Vettel to join its institutional advancement team and assist Rector Fr. Joseph Taphorn on strategic initiatives central to the seminary’s mission.
Vettel joins the seminary community in a dual role aimed at engaging donors and assisting in important projects from strategic planning and implementation to managing institutional relationships. In his previous role, Vettel served as a financial advisor for Merrill Lynch. Before that, he spent nearly a decade as assistant development director for NET Ministries.
The Benedictine College alum was instrumental in starting a St. Paul’s Outreach chapter at the Atchison, Kansas campus. Vettel and his wife Anita have four children and live in the Twin Cities.
