School of Divinity lay graduate studies info night set for Oct. 28

Those seeking to advance their faith and career in ministry or Catholic education are invited to attend The Saint Paul Seminary School of Divinity’s Graduate Studies Information Night from 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28 at The Saint Paul Seminary.

Leaders and current students from the School of Divinity’s Master of Arts in Pastoral Leadership, Master of Arts in Theology and Institute for Catholic School Leadership will be on hand to review program information and course offerings and answer questions. Attendees can also learn about scholarship opportunities, the admissions process and learn what’s possible with a theological master’s degree or a Certificate in Catholic School Leadership.

Those interested in attending can register online and contact Rosalinda Romportl at gradtheology@stthomas.edu with any questions.

The Master of Arts in Pastoral Leadership program is aimed at equipping leaders of Catholic organizations to serve as dynamic, effective teachers, catechists, counselors, youth ministers and anyone else in a ministerial leadership capacity. The Master of Arts in Theology is the same deep, academic dive into theology that some seminarians preparing for priesthood take.

And the recently-established Institute for School Leadership allows Catholic school principals and administrators to create an educational environment rooted in the faith and academic excellence.
