Bob Burns’ story is one of saying “yes” to God throughout whatever has happened in his life. The Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis native is set to be ordained a permanent deacon this December — despite taking a year off of formation for Naval deployment and celebrating the birth of multiple children during his discernment and preparation for Holy Orders.
