Taught by renowned catechist Jeff Cavins, the Catechetical Institute's School of Discipleship is open to all adults and teaches the basics of discipleship, how to share your faith with confidence, and how to cultivate a deeper life of prayer.
In this seven-week course, students become “activated disciples” and embark on a guided 40-day discipleship challenge to help put what they learn into practice. The course culminates in an inspirational and interactive Activated Disciple Seminar.

It is a life-changing experience that begins with seven weekly one-hour teachings by renowned catechist and Saint Paul Seminary instructor Jeff Cavins, followed by time with Jesus in adoration. After the seven lessons, we begin a 40-Day Discipleship Challenge where we put into practice the disciplines of a disciple. Students receive a 40-Day Discipleship Challenge journal that guides them through each day, along with encouraging videos from Jeff every other day. After the 40-Day Discipleship Challenge, we gather together for an interactive Activated Discipleship Seminar.
