Incarnational Healing and the Virtue of Chastity: A Pastoral and Personal Approach

This Clergy Study Day will provide pastoral insights on promoting chastity in your parish and in personal life, with a view toward healing. Fr. Sean Kilcawley will speak on recovery as evangelization, the theology of the body as a charismatic proclamation and offer insights and methods for healing and growth in purity of life.
About Fr. Kilcawley
Fr. Sean Kilcawley is a 1996 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. In 2005, he was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Lincoln. In 2013, he received his license in Sacred Theology from the John Paul II Institute in Rome. In 2019, he completed training and certification as a pastoral sexual addiction practitioner through the International Institute for Trauma and Addictions Professionals. Kilcawley served as the family life office director for the Diocese of Lincoln from 2014-2022 and currently serves as pastor of St. Leo and St. Martin Catholic Churches in Palmyra and Douglas, Nebraska. Kilcawley has spoken to clergy, seminarians and diocesan leaders in over 45 dioceses and is a faculty member for the Avila Institute High Calling Program and the Institute for Priestly Formation. His publications include “Compulsive Sexual Behavior and Seminary Formation” in “Clerical Sexual Misconduct: An Interdisciplinary Analysis” (Cluney, 2020). He is a contributing author to the book “Reclaiming Sexual Wholeness: An Integrative Christian Approach to Sexual Addiction.”
