How to invite people into freedom in Christ in ordinary parish activity including confession, pastoral meetings, and parish council meetings

We will look at how to deal with things of a demonic nature if they show up at the parish. What can a priest or deacon do (and not do)? What prayers are allowed and helpful? Are there simple ways to determine if something is demonic or mental illness? Also, how do we discern the need for deeper healing within confession and counseling? If I face something in my parish, should I be afraid? There will be practical prayers shared about dealing with a house that has demonic activity, how to pray for things in our parish boundaries, and how to let the parish participate in the victory of the Kingdom of Christ against the kingdom of darkness through the ordinary activity in a parish that is happening on a regular basis.

Presented by Fr. Jon Vander Ploeg, director of spiritual formation at The Saint Paul Seminary, and Fr. Steven Hoffman, pastor at the Church of St. Peter in Mendota.
