Dr. Christian Washburn, professor of dogmatic theology at The Saint Paul Seminary, recently edited, translated and wrote an introduction for “A Short Catholic Catechism for Children” by St. Robert Bellarmine, S.J. The book, recommend for children 5 years and older, was published in October.

“In the name of the Lord, I urge and highly recommend that when you teach Christian doctrine you use this little book, written by Cardinal Bellarmine at the order of Pope Clement VIII,” Pope Benedict XIV once said about the text.
