Pastor Development

There is a common saying among leaders that the first 90 days in a new position can determine a person’s success. The Institute for Ongoing Clergy Formation offers a two-day workshop that provides orientation to those who will become pastor in the coming weeks. Leadership principles and suggestions for the first 90 days as pastor will be covered.

The Pastor Workshop is an intensive five-day program designed to help pastors realize their full potential and lead vibrant parishes. Workshop content focuses on leadership opportunities and challenges, and provides practical administrative skills necessary for success. This is a collaborative effort with The Saint Paul Seminary and the University of St. Thomas’ Department of Catholic Studies and Opus College of Business.

The Pastor Workshop also includes Mass, Liturgy of the Hours, Holy Hour, Benediction, confession and time for fraternity.
