Archbishop John Ireland Scholarship

 

Archbishop John Ireland was the third bishop and the first archbishop of St. Paul and founded the University of St. Thomas and The Saint Paul Seminary. In honor of his commitment to Catholic education and his service to God’s people this scholarship offers recent graduates of the University of St. Thomas a full-tuition scholarship. This opportunity to pursue full-time graduate studies and serve the community is available to all our degree programs. Master of Arts in Theology Scholarship

 

This merit-based scholarship is awarded annually for up to two qualified students with a commitment to service and entering the Master of Arts in Theology degree program. The award is for 80 percent of tuition costs, renewable for a maximum of two years of full-time study or four years of part-time study. Archdiocesan Employee Scholarship

 

Available to full or part-time employees of parishes, schools and other ministries of the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, this scholarship provides up to 50 percent of tuition costs. Here's where you can access more information and apply.

Tuition Discounts

 

Tuition discounts are available for both degree and non-degree seeking students affiliated with the following groups:

  • Alumni of The Saint Paul Seminary
  • Priests, religious or deacons
  • Senior citizens (55 years or older)
  • Teaching parish supervisory committee members
  • Teaching parish staff (with letter from pastor)
