Who is St. Charles Borromeo? The patron saint of seminarians was a 16th-century cardinal and archbishop of Milan, known for his key role in the Counter-Reformation and dedication to Church reform. St. Charles is revered for his pastoral care, humility and efforts to help the poor, making him a model of spiritual leadership.

Borromeo Weekend at The Saint Paul Seminary

Every year, around or on the feast of St. Charles Borromeo The Saint Paul Seminary and neighboring St. John Vianney College Seminary spend 40 consecutive hours in Eucharistic adoration. It's called Borromeo Weekend, and it all begins with Mass and a procession through the University of St. Thomas.
