Led Together

Fr. Scott Carl and Companions (The Deacon Class of Saint Paul Seminary)

We have had a few days free to adventure on our own, but before the weekend we all had the opportunity to visit the North American College where many seminarians study for dioceses of the United States.  We were able to join them for lunch, and then a tour of their home.  They concluded the tour by bringing us onto their roof with a breathtaking view, and a great backdrop for some diocesan photos.

In a few short months we will all go home to serve in our respective dioceses, but right now we have the gift of being together in formation.  We learn a lot from our formation program, our classes, our pastoral assignments, but in a special way today I want to make note of the gift it is to learn from each other.  We come from varying backgrounds, and will return to unique communities and yet each day I learn something from my brothers.  Please continue to pray for us as we begin another week with the Lord.

In Christ,

Deacon Bobby Blood
